At Nesting Days, we love being a part of helping to rewrite the story of modern parenting!
A classic men's t-shirt
that 'nests' a newborn
heart to heart.
What's not to love?
Our redesign for 2020 provides more skin-to-skin contact and greater core support.
Your baby will 'nest' heart-to-heart with you between the shirt and the two crisscrossed panels that provide the support that holds your baby safely to your chest.
Pull the shirt on over you head, locate these two front panels, and open the side buckle.
With your baby in burp position on one shoulder, keeping one hand on the baby, draw open the front panels with the other hand, and lower baby into the nest.
Close the buckle and you are good to go!
Newborns can see 8 to 12 inches.
The perfect distance for gazing up into your eyes.
These little eyes say, 'I love you Dad!'
Studies show that being an involved father has a positive, long-range impact on the family’s health and well-being.
Wear your Nesting Days shirt at home or on the go.
Caring for a newborn is a 24/7 job.
Learning to do ‘hand-offs’ with your partner will make life easier for everyone.
Studies show that 'involved' fathers have a positive, long-range impact on the family’s health and well-being.
If you need to go out on hot days, remember these tips:
• ALL babywearing traps body heat, so when you feel too warm, take a break. Babies can’t maintain their body heat and cool down quickly.
• To protect your baby from overheating in the carrier, we recommend keeping the house a cool 68°-74°. Stay indoors on hot days, 80° is too hot for newborns! When outdoors, stay in the shade, and take walks only early and late in the day when the sun is less intense.
• Lastly, keep baby well hydrated with frequent feedings. You can do bottles, Dad! (No water until 6 mos. old.)
